My name is Lisa, I was born in the South of France where I grew up in a sports family. I started judo and dance when I was four, and got my judo black belt when I was 18. After my baccalaureate, I joined a professional dance school in Paris, but I felt the need to reconnect with myself and yoga prove itself the solution. After having practiced a lot in group classes, I decided to go and train in India to be able to teach and pass on all the positive that yoga has brought me in a difficult period.
Then, after graduating, I continued on with training to become a sports coach and coach at Dynamo Cycling at the same time.
Then, I completed my training with the diplomas of Yin yoga and pre/postnatal yoga.
Today, yoga is my job, but also a passion and a way to do me good physically and morally.
The benefits of yoga
- What are the benefits of yoga?
Yoga has many benefits. Amongst the most important ones, I would say that it brings balance to our lives. When we roll out our mat we escape into our practice, we connect to our breathing and we are fully connected to the present moment. A balance in our busy and intense lives.
Yoga improves our posture with the strengthening of deep muscles, stretching, work on balance and breathing.
- How to start yoga? What equipment to have?
You can start yoga anytime and at any age. You just have to adapt your practice with a type of yoga and a teacher that suits you.
To start, you can simply bring a yoga mat and then invest in accessories such as blocks, a strap and a cushion (bolster and/or zafu).
- What are the different practices and for whom?
There are many practices, but we can simply remember that there are gentle practices such as hatha and yin yoga, dynamic practices such as vinyasa and ashtanga and "personalized" practices such as pre/postnatal yoga, women's yoga, ...
To pick one, all you have to do is listen to your body to adapt your practice according to how you feel and according to your objectives.
- Why do you like yoga?
I like yoga because it's a moment where I let my body move as it needs to, where I take the time to breathe and forget about my day. Sometimes I like to do postures that will push me to challenge myself and sometimes just a meditation on my mat.
- How did you start?
I started by trying several styles and several teachers to understand which yoga to turn to in relation to my needs and my feelings on my mat.
The Yoga tip
- How to introduce yoga into your daily life / routine?
You can start by rolling out your mat for 10 minutes 2 to 3 times a week. Then maybe every morning to wake up your body well before starting the day or on the contrary 10 min. In the evening to bring down the energy and the pressure of the day and let the body relax before going to bed.

I use the Let Go spray once in my day to bring me back to the present moment, the Fresh Air roll-on in the morning after my shower and the Sweet Dreams roll-on just before getting to bed.
I often use the Let Go spray at the end of my yoga practice for the last Savasana posture and let my body relax.
