"Jasmine holds a special place in my heart, a connection that goes back to my childhood. In the mornings, during summer holidays, I would accompany my grandmother who would go "pick the Flower," an expression referring to jasmine. These were terraced gardens where men were absent. The women picked, chatted, laughed, and seemed to enjoy being together while their children ran around. The youngest ones picked with bare arms.
